Music is an emotional art form and often reflects on happy days as well as sad times.
I have met many special people over the years both in a paid professional and a voluntary capacity.
I have also taught guitar and other musical instruments to people who have through no fault of their own perhaps lost
some of that ability.
Often musical sessions provide at least a temporary escape from other everyday life issues and I am delighted to be a part of that, so again my music reflects in part at least those present and past experiences.
My mainstream music endeavours/live performances therefore incorporate a diverse selection of songs of illustrious artists such as Frank Sinatra,Elvis,Robbie Williams,Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Cliff Richard, Clifford T Ward, Scott Walker, Matt Monro, John Denver, Adam Faith, Rolling Stones , Status Quo , Rod Stewart and many more 60's bands.
A real mixed bag, but one that is in response to requests.
Add to that my enthusiasm for musicals such as 'Phantom of the Opera' and 'Les Miserables' which on occasions constitute a whole performance and maybe you can understand my preferences.
